BROOKINGS, S.D. – Entering the final day of the regular season, the top three seeds have been set for the upcoming Summit League Tournament, but for the Oral Roberts men's basketball team there is still plenty to be determined. The Golden Eagles have a one-game lead over South Dakota and are tied with Denver entering Saturday's matchup with South Dakota State, who has already clinched the No. 2 seed.

Saturday's Summit League contest will tip off at 4:30 p.m. from Frost Arena and will be televised on MidCoSN and will also be available on ESPN3 and the WatchESPN app. Geoff Haxton's radio call of the game can be heard at 97.1 FM in the Tulsa area and around the world for free through and through the ORU Athletics Front Row App.

• ORU holds an 8-7 edge in the all-time series, but has lost four in a row to the Jackrabbits. In the first meeting between the two teams this season, Javan White scored a career-high 16 points, but the Golden Eagles gave up 14 rebounds, including 11 in the second half and fell 86-74 at the Mabee Center.

• A win Saturday would be the first win for ORU at South Dakota State since January 8, 2011.

• A loss Saturday would be the 16th loss of the season, tying the 2013-14 and 2010-11 for the most losses for the Golden Eagles since 2000-01, Scott Sutton's second year when ORU was 10-19.

• ORU started the year 8-2, claimed the PSO Mayor's Cup for the third year in a row with a 70-68 win over Tulsa, and swept through the Men Against Breast Cancer Classic at  James Madison to win the tournament with a 3-0 record.

Albert Owens and Obi Emegano (MVP) were each named to the Men Against Breast Cancer Classic All-Tournament Team after helping ORU to a 3-0 record and tournament championship.

• ORU was picked to finish third in The Summit League in the preseason poll, although the Golden Eagles did pick up one first place vote. Obi Emegano, who has earned a league-best three Player of the Week honors already, was tabbed as the league's Player of the Year.
