TULSA, Okla. – The Oral Roberts volleyball team (14-12 overall, 6-6 SL) heads on its final road trip of the season trying to clinch a spot in The Summit League postseason tournament facing Denver (Nov. 4) and Omaha (Nov. 6).

Friday's match is slated for an 8 p.m. start local time and will be carried live on television on Altitude 2 with live stats also available. ORU's contest at Omaha Sunday will start at 2 p.m. with live video (fee) and live stats accessible.

Quick Hits

► The Golden Eagles take on the Pioneers, currently tied for first in the conference standings at 10-2, and try for the season sweep after a five-set victory at home Oct. 11. ORU then will go for the series split against the Mavericks, 2-10 in league play, following a five-set loss at the Aerobics Center Oct. 2.

►Denver is 10-1 on its home floor in 2016 and riding a six-match win streak, while Omaha enters the weekend having dropped 12 of the last 13 sets during a four-match skid.

►For the fourth time in eight weeks this season, an ORU player was named The Summit League's Offensive Player of the Week after Laura Milos picked up the honor Oct. 17.  It was her third time landing the honor in 2016 and ninth of her storied career, while junior Shelby Cox earned the title for the first time in her career Oct. 10.

►Both Milos and Lucija Bojanjac continue to climb up the ORU career leaderboards this season. Behind a 26-kill performance at South Dakota State Oct. 28, Milos moved into fourth place all-time in kills with 1,582 career kills and needs two kills to move into 10th on the single-season list just three away from 500 for the year. Bojanjac recently moved up to fourth in career assists and now has 3,401 during her three-year career.

►ORU completed the nonconference schedule with an 8-6 record including a thrilling 3-0 sweep of Arkansas in the home opener. It was the third win in a row for ORU in the series against the Razorbacks and came in front of an Aerobics Center record crowd of 1,272 fans.

►Milos has continued her success on the court from last season earning national recognition. The junior leads the nation in total aces (73) and aces per set (0.82) and ranks in the top-10 nationally in several other categories. The Porec, Croatia native ranks third in attacks per set (13.89), kills per set (5.58), points per set (6.57), points (585), and fourth in total kills (497). She also is The Summit League's leader in eight statistical categories in 2016.

►One constant for the Golden Eagles this year has been the play of its setter in Bojanjac. The junior leads the team with 864 assists on the year, while ranking fourth in The Summit League. A native of Zagreb, Croatia, she has seven matches this season with at least 40 assists. In a 33-set performance against Arkansas, Bojanjac joined the 3,000 assists club and now has 3,401 for her career.

►As a team, Oral Roberts tops all 329 NCAA Division I programs in the country in service aces with 193 on the season. The team also is third nationally at 2.01 aces per set due to its aggressive style of serving.
