Summit League Cancels Spring Sports Season

Out of concern for the health and well-being of student-athletes, coaches, staff, and fans due to the spread of the global coronavirus, the Summit League has cancelled the remainder of the spring sports seasons for all members schools, including ORU. The NCAA also has cancelled all winter and spring Championships.

"While all of us with ORU Athletics are saddened by the news to cancel all spring sports for this season, we understand the risks involved and why the decision was made regarding this unprecedented and complicated situation. At the end of the day, the health and welfare of our student-athletes, coaches, staff and fans is the most important thing,” said ORU Athletic Director Mike Carter.

ORU Athletics is believing in total health and provision for our fans, our Student-Athletes, Coaches, our university community, our nation, and our world.
